Newness of Life
Two Sundays ago, I skipped church for a run at Crowders. Lately, I've gotten into the habit of getting in a run before church. I like the post-run me: content, happy, cleansed. So much so that when I realized I wouldn't have time to run before church, I sti...

"We started today by praying together, that God would really be glorified through this project and the work of Kids4School here in Tanzania, and later with our final presentation. This was our chance to say thank you to Kids4School for hosting us, and to share our vision for their new Christian Academy. Tomorrow, the first of the team leave and we begin the long journey home, with the knowledge that what we leave behind is about so much more than building a school, it's about building people." ‪#‎designinghope‬

In Burundi, coffee farmers are also tea, bean, corn, and sweet potato farmers.

Great report of an amazing experience! It takes a wise runner with a strong heart to know when to stop running. Good luck with all of your (future) running endeavors!

Love is a Muscle
After spending half of the summer on injury reserve, I'm slowly coming back and adding back mileage cautiously. First two to three weeks had been sluggish. My legs had no spring, running uphill felt like hopping up and down on the same spot, and I just felt...
