The place I go to buy my equipment and for rental (good price). Staff service is non consistent: some good, other so-so. You go to Photoservice because you know what you want and you get it for good price (if you want to explore, try and touch everything, other stores might be more fun, like Lozeau... but $)

The service is awesome and the store is clean yet they need to improve their website. A better UI for the website is a must.

Their advertised price is not accurate. Their website gives a certain price, when you go to the store they mention another price. After when you come and pick up your photos it's another price. I don't understand their system. It doesn't make sense. Always have to argue with the prices.

We had a client recently (probably you, but we cannot confirm 100%) that came to the store that did not understand why the scans of negatives « that are cut » were more expensive than a scan of a roll film uncut. Our laboratory staff have clearly explained why to this customer. They gave him a 15% discount to resolve the misunderstanding. The client was very happy. During his last visit, the client didn’t understand why his 8x10 ink jet print was the same cost of the price of a 11x14. When he gave us the order, my employee have clearly explained to him that if he wanted a 8x10 inch on a 44 EPSON ink jet printer, it would cost the price of a 11x14 because our minimum fee starts at this format. The client then agreed to place his order. Last saturday, he picked his 8x10 and he still did not understand why his 8x10 invoiced the price of a 11x14. In conclusion, we do not understand « your » reaction given the fact that each time we always take the time to explain our fee schedule. In the laboratory department, there are so many possibilities that we have to round up a few times to decrease the price list. We are convionce that we are very competitive in our printing services. We would appreciate you can explain us what could be improved in our price list so that this situation does not happen again. We still don’t understand this google comment. It’s not justified in our point of view. We have been chosen the best lab in Montreal (quality/price ratio), 2 times out of 2 a few years ago and our client are very satisfied of the quality for the price they are paying.

Excellent customer service! Great store for photo equipment. The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. I have been going to this place since the early 90's when i was in photography school and the place is still going. One of the best kept jewels in old Montreal!!!! Highly recommend it!

Very very poor customer service. Had placed an online lab submission, emailed them to ask when it would be ready, the date/day did not match up, that's ok mistakes happen. However, when I showed up to pick my print up, at the time I was told it would be ready, was greeted with attitude, she barley looked for it and told me it wasn't ready. It was if I was bothering her. I had to show her my email saying that it was ready. After she made an actual effort to look for my print, it was found and suddenly ready...surprise! Then she tried to charge me for it again when I had paid online...and it clearly said on the slip that it was PAID. It's too bad you have these people working with the public, I wont be back!

Hi, We are sorry for this situation. We have found the employee that had this attitude toward you and have review with her our expectations for customer service and have coach her in that way. We treat well our employees so we expect that they treat well the client in return. Sorry again. BTW, we have won 2 times out of 2, the best lab (quality price ratio) in Montreal in a famous customer review magazine in Quebec. We just need to make sure that the quality goes also in customer service.

The WORST service I have ever experienced in my life. They have very poor service, lots of attitude, little explanations and extremely confusing excuses. Best to find another place to rent
