Does PGP Sure ® offer ECC (Elliptic Curve Cryptography)?

BlackBerry ® PGP providers are trying to stand out from others now-a-days in one way or the other. Some of them are boasting about a pithy and techie sounding word “ECC”. In our quest to enlighten the users about technology, and not to burst someone’s bubble, ECC is not new at all and has been around for quite some time now. It has been already utilized over the internet to secure communications. PGP currently uses AES 256 for symmetric encryption and RSA 4096 in asymmetric encryptions. Asymmetric encryption creates a pair of your private/public key. However, you now have the option of choosing ECC in place of RSA in version 10 + of BES. With ECC, you have the option of NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) promoted ECC curves or ECC curves by NSA (National Security Agency). It should be kept in mind, however, that there is proof that these curves are not safe http://safecurves.cr.yp.to/

Being that said we will not supply ECC PGP

The answer is NO! more info http://goo.gl/FR9YV6
