Its VMware ready, which means it is endorsed by VMware. It works as it should be expected. I love the folk at pfSense, they have made my life easier over the last few years. This is only great news :)

Happy 10th Birthday to pfSense!
https://blog.pfsense.org/?p=1481
Ten years ago today, the pfsense.org(com/net) domains were first registered, marking the birth of the project as we know it. We began on a server named “projectx” a few months prior, going public after settling on a name on November 5, 2004. We've come incredibly far since then, having grown to ...

That's among the most common upgrade failures, having a dead drive and not realizing until the system reboots. Glad you got it back up and going.

Finally have 2.2rc working and it appears to be doing what it is supposed to for the moment.....Yaaay! Love It!

I have the following packages installed:

mailreport Network Management 2.1
ntopng Network Management 1.2.1 v0.3
pfBlocker Firewall 1.0.3
squid3 Network 3.4.10_2 pkg 0.2.5
squidGuard-squid3 Network Management 1.4_4 pkg v.1.9.6
suricata Security 2.0.4 pkg v2.1.3

Anything else should be added per a standard setup.....

Also....On the Gateways....I get high latency...not the first time it has happend but any ideas why this is happening and what can be done to mitigate this issue?

Here is a example:

Name RTT Loss Status
WAN_DHCP 98.26.88.1
899.8ms 10% Latency

but after a while it appears to clear up.....it seems like a cycle...

Thanks,
