“It’s very important to give these pets the homes they deserve. You never know how this dog or cat can make a difference in someone’s life, whether they have a disability or not.”

Adopted pets can change lives. Roo inspired Kelli, who was born deaf, to achieve her dream of becoming a firefighter. Though the odds were stacked against her, Roo served as a reminder for Kelli to stay strong, positive and to not give up: http://bit.ly/1zfYSGS

Pet homelessness is a problem with a cure. Spaying and neutering prevents litters, reducing pet overpopulation from the start. It doesn’t have to cost as much as you think. Find a low-cost spay/neuter clinic near you: http://bit.ly/1z4xH34

“I told my husband we needed to go get her. She shouldn’t be homeless just because she was older and missing an eye.”

This senior dog spent seven months in a shelter while potential adopters overlooked her because of her age and injury. Jill already had a few pets at home, but after a visit with Rita she knew she had room in her heart to love one more. Find out how Rita’s personality is shining in her new home: http://bit.ly/1JZqyXM

“You know how they say every day is the best day of a dog’s life? That’s exactly right for Freddie.”

Freddie was found starving in a house with more than 50 other dogs. His luck changed for the better thanks to the hard work of local animal welfare groups, a PetSmart Charities Emergency Relief grant and a ride on the Rescue Waggin’. Don’t miss his heartwarming adventure to his lifelong, loving home: http://bit.ly/1IwYoEM

“She put her paws on my shoulders, tucked her head into my chest and gave me a hug. I told my husband, ‘we’re adopting this dog.'"

Zoey was one of many little dogs at the shelter, so she blended in easily. The staff moved her to a PetSmart Charities Everyday Adoption Center where her new mom took one look and declared her the prettiest dog in the world: http://bit.ly/1HtubHq

A lifelong loving home for every pet
Introduction

We envision a world in which every pet has a lifelong, loving home.

PetSmart Charities® and PetSmart Charities of Canada® are nonprofit animal welfare organizations that save the lives of homeless pets. More than 400,000 dogs and cats find homes each year through our adoption partner in all PetSmart® stores and our sponsored adoption events.

PetSmart Charities grants more money to directly help pets in need than any other animal welfare group in North America, with a focus on funding spay/neuter services that help communities solve the problem of pet overpopulation.

PetSmart Charities is a 501(c)(3) organization and PetSmart Charities of Canada is a registered charity, separate from PetSmart Inc.
