Apologies if this has been asked before. Does Chromecast support the Note 4?

Hi. I visited Hoxa Head with my kids on Easter Sunday. They were very interested and impressed on the remaining fortifications.

Great pictures Peter! I especially like the Balfour Battery photos. Another great WWII battery to visit is Rerwick Head.

I wonder if anyone can shed light on what I am not doing. I am trying to share pictures between my note 10.1 and my note 2. None of them will find the other by bluetooth (bluetooth is on both). None will see the other via wifi direct to share a picture unless I send a SNote from note 10.1 to note 2 first.

Is your note 2 still feeling the love or have you had to move on?

I have enjoyed my note 2 for just over a year and a half. I still think that this is a great device and hardly ever use the home desktop computer or indeed my note 10.1 tablet as the note 2 really does just about all I ever need to do.

I will be upgrading to the note 4 as soon as my contract allows, which will be end of January. I can wait, but I know that getting the note 4 will be worth the wait.

My note 2 is starting to wear out however, the earphone socket started to play in only the LH earpiece, at first I thought it was the headphones but after trying 3 different headphones and using Google, I came to the correct conclusion that the earphone socket was broke. I do use it all the time, so fair enough.

Then the micro Usb charging connector snapped, you know, the little middle part. Again it gets a lot of use so fair enough again.

I found both these parts on Amazon, and after watching YouTube videos of how to do it, I duly set about carrying out major surgery to my beloved note 2. It was a bit daunting, stripping out the motherboard and all, wondering if the parts were the exact same, would it even start up when re assembled. Well, much to my surprise, it did work and headphones and charging socket both work as they should, ...phew!

My love affair with this phone carries on.
I am wondering how other people's note 2's are fairing up now that they are getting older. Are they getting repaired , to be loved again, or, consigned to the old tech drawer and on to pastures new?

I have had my Note 2 for 18 mths.  My son has a Note 3.  My screen is now cracked but functions fine and I am not eligible for an upgrade yet.

I'm in the Uk and have not seen any 4.3 update yet. After waiting quite a while for this update l am seriously thinking of not updating my note 2 and rootIng my device instead.
What say you?

Messing with the leaked s4 apk on my note 2. Black holes in the sky are due to strong sunlight conditions, unusual in Orkney.
Any advice on how to avoid showing cut of legs in the lower areas?

Thanks +Bobbylee Budde  Orkney can be lovely in the summer months.
Thanks for the tip +David Whittley , I will try that next shot.
+Carl Ensley, I just held the camera in front about 24 inches, no stand. I reckon you could get stunning shots with a stand. wonder if such a stand is available for the note 2 ?

Has anyone got any experience with using irig guitar interface with their note 10.1. Does it work? Do you need an input adaptor? and does it work using irig recorder app for androd?

Any help on this would be appreciated.
