To address your concerns below – You can void a transaction after it is entered into the system as long as that is done prior to the batch-cutoff time. After this time, payments are batched out and begin the funding process with your credit card processor. Once the payment batches out it runs on the network for the credit card processor, and this is where fees are incurred, as there is a hard cost for processing credit card payments.This is standard across the payment card industry, where the cost is not incurred after the payment is deposited, but at the time it is initially processed.
