The paintings above are one way I occupy myself when time permits.  Words are the other way. I am an indie writer of suspense thrillers; there, I've gone and said, and it sounds good.

By day I am a consulting executive; I build consulting companies around customer experience and social media.

I am using Google+ as a channel expander for my writing and social media, and to find a literary agent.

I write a satirical business blog ( and one on men, women, and what is wrong with the planet (

My first novel, The Dead of Winter, centers around Colorado.  A power-driven DA makes an assistant DA prosecute someone for a murder even though there is minimal evidence the suspect is guilty.  When the DA’s office loses the case, and the DA's suspect is found murdered, the assistant DA begins his own investigation to see who may is responsible for the murders. With each new clue comes new risk, risk that may make him the next person murdered.

I am working on my second novel, Monopoly. It is 2/3 written and has all the makings of a dazzling suspense thriller.  Ivy League coeds are dying and the FBI is trying to uncover and capture the killer. They are wondering what the Monopoly playing pieces left on the bodies of the dead girls can tell them about their killer.  The lead FBI agent, and ex Navy SEAL, recently lost his young daughter to cancer and his wife to divorce.

A former police forensic psychiatrist who had been counseling the agent after his daughter's death, and who is becoming involved romantically with the agent, joins the investigation.  Soon after her high school daughter goes missing.

The agent and his best friend, a Philadelphia homicide sergeant with more than enough troubles of his own begin an investigation of the missing girl.  The two cases begin to converge and both the police and FBI rush to find the killer before either one of them or another girl is murdered.
