"The interior is drab, but the location (a ritzy shopping area) is pretty good."

The hotel itself is very nice. The rooms are alright, they are large but a bit outdated, very different style than the rest of the hotel. They're very simple. We found five spiders crawling on the floor, and a few other type of bugs. The other guest staying with me woke up with bites a few times and was itchy all over her arm. We told the housekeeping but nothing changed, it seems they just ignored it. One of the receptionist was quite rude, but the other one was very friendly. Really the only good things about this hotel are the location and the decoration of the hotel (apart from the rooms...). For that steep price, just pick somewhere else in the same area.

I worked with Jacquie to plan a super special proposal for my now fiancé Laura. It was a huge success! I proposed on the 18th floor with the best view of Toronto I have ever seen. My girlfriend was under the impression that she was doing a favour for her friend by attending a "nursing gala" as her boyfriend couldn't come. Two different staff members pointed the girls to the nursing gala and when Laura got up to the roof top, I was waiting for her on the balcony ready to propose! The staff also helped me organize a surprise dinner for 20 people in the Annona restaurant. The food was amazing! Jacquie and the Park Hyatt staff were unbelievable and I am forever grateful for the memory they helped me create!

Website made it seem like it was a full service fitness centre when in fact it is like 5 cardio machines and dumbbells that go up to 45lbs. The concierge said he would get me a pass at a local gym nearby and leave a message on my room voicemail....this never happened. The night stands in my room were in bad shape with the bottoms peeling off. The bathrooms however were really nice, except the showerhead which seemed to be from a motel. Definitely not what I expected from such a pricey hotel

Incredible view of the city. Bar upstairs gives you snacks even if you only order drinks. No shade on the balcony though so no protection from sunlight.

The Management staff is absolutely amazing. We had a mishap on the first evening at the hotel, but the staff went above and beyond making things right. I would definitely recommend this hotel and intend to stay there again. The location is also great, being close to everything down town was amazing. Thank you team Hyatt for the great service offered.

Rooms need renovating, service runs from horrendous to mediocre. Rooftop bar is cool, if you can get a table.
