#China has seen restrictions on Christians loosen in the past 30 years, but there are still areas that face extreme #persecution.

Believers, like Gulnur, in the Uyghur ethnic group face the worst persecution. Please join us to #PRAY:

Please PRAY for a Christian widow named Tutu* and her son Biruk* who are facing severe persecution in a strict Muslim-dominated community in Ethiopia. Trouble started for the family when they left Islam and became Christians.

On March 4, villagers set fire to their home around 6pm. The entire house, except for one room, was totally destroyed. They lost most of their belongings, including clothing, bedding, furnishings, kitchenware, food and cash. Tutu told Open Doors workers who visited them, “I thank the Lord for sparing our lives. We cannot complain about the loss of material things."

Open Doors helped them with cash to replace their food stock and will continue to help them take regain their livelihood. Please pray for the Lord's comfort to Tutu and Biruk and for His protection over them. The church in this area is also coming under increasing attack, so pray for wisdom for church leaders as they pastor these believers.
