First, apologies for cross-posting this, but it's relevant to more than just the opensuse-project opensuse.org audience. In order to cut down the noise on other lists, I ask that all responses are sent to opensuse-project opensuse.org only. Second, this is a 'from the heart' and ...

+Andreas Klein i tried that first. lack of suspend/resume and other device support like handling multiple audio inputs/outputs made that very irritating. battery life was terrible. and i couldn't figure out how to format USB storage nor make USB storage available to my windows guest.

Though openQA is a fantastic tool, bug reports are still important. Be sure to do your part to contribute to the Project by reporting bugs on our bugzilla. Bug reporting is one of the easiest and an important contribution to openSUSE.

+Richard Brown I think that possibly users are reluctant to file bug reports, mistakenly believing that doing so will cause extra work, or that the reports themselves will not be clear, or that they will be required to follow-up and provide additional information during the period the bug report is active.
As you say, automating almost everything is where we are headed, and that will help free up people to to more interesting things with computers, and computer design.
