It's probably time to stop petting my beautiful new +Nikon USA
D5 so that I can actually go out and shoot with it. Thinking of all I'll be able to do with the amazing capabilities of this camera, starting with my shoot tomorrow morning for a brand new BeautifulTogether.org project and - wow, such a remarkable opening of possibilities, especially for much of my low light work. I got to shoot with this camera last month in Vegas, and the speed, intricate focus options/response and ISO capabilities (up to 3.2 million ISO - I just can't fully process) are truly a massive upgrade. I like how the buttons have been shifted to make even more sense and Plus, I'm finnnnaaaallllly switching to XQD cards to really get the most of it (more on that here: http://www.nikonusa.com/en/learn-and-explore/article/i7rd4235/what-is-xqd-and-why-should-i-use-it.html
). So, yes, really must stop just petting it now.
