We have stayed here several times in the last couple of years and its true, the rooms are a bit dated but far from horrible. What you need to understand is that this is an older resort that Nick bought out 10 years ago and turned into Nick resort. So set your expectations based on the fact that this place is probably 20 or so years old. We live in Florida a couple of hours away and this is something that we like to do from time to time just to get away. I was just booking a stay this weekend for my family and decided to read some of the reviews and I have to say I'm a bit shocked at some of the "Adults" on here complaining about the price and overall experience. If your room wasn't cleaned from the last guest or you have pizza stains on your sheets that's one thing and worth comenting on. BUT, if you were to price out seperatly a hotel for a family of 4 and 4 tickets to one of the local water parks in Orlando I can promise you that you would pay much more than what this costs. Not to mention the convienince of being able to open your room door and be 5 mins from entertaining your kids in a plethora of different ways. That is why we are going here after all right? It's for our kids. Read the reviews, do your homework, and set your expectations appropriately. If you took 2000 kids and let them run around the 4 Seasons every day for 10 years it would look a little messy. It is what it is. It's a giant kids playground and expecting anything less is setting yourself up for some level of disapointment.

The room we first received was absolutely disgusting. As soon as you walked in, it smelled of the last room guest. The toilet still had the last guest "body" hair in there. The side table was not wiped down at all, the condensation stains from cups were still visible and sticky. The worse were the beds. It was obvious they used the same sheets and blankets from the last guest. Grease stains on the covers on all beds and crusty pizza sauce stains in the children's bed. Went down to request a different room and the second room, while in a lot better condition, had pizza stains from the last guest on the sheets! I do not know how they continue to run a hotel if they allow this. I would compare the cleanliness of this hotel to a roach infested pay by the hour hotel. Never again would I attempt to stay here or recommend it to anyone.

I'm only rating this "resort" 1 star because zero or negative stars are not an option. We decided to spend a whopping $500 on a weekend at the Nick Hotel for my sons 6th Birthday as opposed to a trip to Disney. What a mistake. The rooms are NOTHING like the pictures. They're outdated, stains all over the floor, poor plumbing, I could go on and on. The smaller pool is only open on the weekends and doesn't even open until 12:45 on Saturdays. The other pool was so jam packed there was no where to sit. They don't allow floats or swimmies which left me awkwardly holding my 7 month old the entire time. The do provide life vests for a select few of the older children. You would think for the outrageous price you pay they would at least have enough pool seating and life vests for kids, but no. The whole place basically shuts down at 9pm. This was a low class cheap motel that I wouldn't stay at again if it were free.

For the price you pay the room was average. The beds were awful. The pool area was the best part of the whole stay. We stayed for 5 days. There were plenty of lifeguards on duty, and they were constantly scanning the pool. I felt safe letting my granddaughters enjoy the pool and the waterpark areas. However, for the price of the room, I am sure I could find a nicer room with the same pool experience. Should also let you know that they powerwash the walkways on alternating floors and the machines are quite loud, so if you plan on sleeping past 9:00am forget it.

The previous reviews had me sooo scared but I decided to make the trip because my 5 year old son is a huge Nick fan. I was pleasantly surprised. While our suite was not five star quality it was clean, could use some updating also. We typically don't use hotel towels, pillows, comforters/blankets, but because of the previous reviews I made a point of checking these items that were in our suite. The blanket in the master bedroom was a bit tattered but smelled clean, there was no comforter but the white sheets were clean as well as the pillowcases. The other room had comforters on both twin beds, they appeared clean. The sheets and pillowcases were clean here also. Towels and shower curtains were clean. Toilet seat a bit loose but wasnt a big deal. There is in fact a musty smell, we used Lysol spray and it helped a bit. My son had a blast at the water park as well as the pool, left to him alone we would spend the entire time at the water park only leaving for food and the character appearances :-). The few members of staff that we interacted with were very pleasant and helpful. I requested extra trash bags, within five minutes there was a knock on the door, a very pleasant young man was there with the trash bags. I declined housekeeping but the house keepers I saw in the hallways were pleasant, in fact it was a housekeeper that reminded me that it was Mother's Day because she wished me a happy Mother's Day. There a lot to be desired especially with the price being charged. Some renovations and more activities for the activity fee would be good. Plus we had to use the stairs when taking our stuff to the car when we were leaving because after waiting a while for the elevator, it finally came with a houseman with a big cart taking up all the room. All in all it was an okay stay but a lot of room for improvement.
