We knew the nice weather couldn't last as it is still April, but even so, the weather this week still feels a bit harsh!

From near record breaking temperatures last week to snow over the hills this week. You've got to love the British weather!

Just the southeast is left in the very warm air now, and that may trigger storms later. The UK's weather is on the change though, with cooler, fresher and at times less settled conditions on the way for everyone next week.

So close to beating the 70 year old April record yesterday! Not quite as warm today, but still plenty of fine, sunny weather. The breakdown will begin on Saturday with some isolated thunderstorms expected, then by early next week, we're back to cooler, less settled weather again.

We could see the warmest April 19th ever recorded today, and it'll be sunny and very warm for much of England and Wales. Scotland cloudier and cooler. The sunshine and warmth stays with us into the weekend, but we'll have to watch out for thunderstorms from Saturday afternoon onwards.

Here's your latest weather forecast with Jo. Looking nice with lots of sunshine over the next couple of days, but maybe starting to breakdown from the west by Sunday.
