I want to see more foods in egg roll form.
This week, The Vulgar Chef made lovely and classy egg rolls using just the ingredients of McDonald's Big Mac hamburgers, cheese, and egg roll pastry dough.First, he placed shredded cheese between two layers of pastry dough. Then he added French fries, pickles, and sliced beef patty. It looks delicious! McDonald's should actually offer this dish.Content warning: foul language....

Shut up and get in my yard!!!!
An outdoor fireplace is akin to what we once called “barbecue pits” (or even “bonfires”) except that they are sturdy and attractive and make your neighbors jealous -unless the reason you got one is because the neighbors already did. If you have the money to spend, you can make your backyard an elegant and inviting place with something like this lovely outdoor living room. Kitchen, too -notice the grill to the left of the fireplace. This is just o...

Teens have always participated in the latest trends in order to fit in with their peers, and whether it's the latest style of clothing, music or food product, teens will always follow the trends no matter how stupid. The latest stupid trend sweeping through the teenage world is the banana peel challenge, where kids make like cartoons and literally slip on a banana peel. yall I tried to see if banana peels were rlly slipper like in cartoons & I sli...

Better or worse than a cubicle?
The point of an open office plan is1. It’s easier for the boss to look and see if you’re really working.2. You can get more workers seated in x square feet.3. Cubicles are easy to reconfigure when needed.4. It’s cheaper in the long run. There are probably more reasons, but rarely is the top consideration the communication and camaraderie that was explained to you. The good news is that some of the top companies provide those accessories to keep yo...

Worse. Since we switched to open plan, I've been working from home one day a week, so I get some peace and quiet for tasks that require a lot of concentration.

When we think of ventriloquists, we think of Edgar Bergen, Shari Lewis, or Jeff Dunham, or those many folks who stage puppet shows for churches. “Throwing one’s voice” is a combination of speaking without appearing to, misdirection, and an eye-catching puppet or dummy. But ventriloquism is not a modern art—it dates back to at least the classical Greece, when it really freaked people out.Back then, ventriloquists were called “engastrimyths”. Now that's art I can relate with.
Laura Keeble, a British artist, takes stained glass from old churches and turns it into everyday objects. This McDonald's Happy Meal becomes a symbol of the Eucharist titled The Glass Supper. In other pieces, memorial church glass becomes a security camera and a phone booth becomes a confessional. These works express Keeble's fascination with how certain physical forms establish and distinguish between the sacred and the profane. In an interview f...

Wanna eat like Homer? Here's your chance.
Over 27 seasons on TV, there’s been a lot of food featured on the TV show The Simpsons. Eats Like a Duck chronicles those foods one at a time, with references to the episode it appeared in and recipes. For example, in the episode “Homerpalooza” (season 7), Homer tries to sneak homemade Kahlua into a concert. Yes, that’s a bad idea, but this is Homer we’re talking about. Still, homemade Kailua can be a great thing used in the proper context.Other ...

Fish have feelings too.
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtgEtUIu4Q0](Video Link)Core Sea is a marine conservation and research organization in Southeast Asia. Recently, one member of the team came across a porcupinefish while snorkeling in Chaloklum Bay, Thailand. The fish was caught in a net. The snorkler used a broken bottle to cut the fish free of the net. That was a challenge, as the net kept on getting caught on the procupinefish's spines.Throughout the entire res...

Now that's how you do a lemonade stand.
(Photo: Austin American-Statesman, Rodolfo Gonzalez/AP)You have a lemonade stand? That's cute. Mikaila Ulmer has a multi-million dollar lemonade empire. This 11-year old girl from Austin, Texas took her great-grandmother's lemonade recipe from 1940 and turned it into a business. She appeared on the TV show Shark Tank last year, where she secured $60,000 of capital for her Me & The Bees brand lemonade. Now the Whole Foods supermarket chain has deci...
