Update: Type O #CME  may impact Earth July 14, 2012 at 10:20UT (plus minus 7 hours), and also Messenger, Spitzer, MSL, Mars.

Update: Revised simulations indicate the Type O CME will arrive at Earth one hour earlier, July 14, 2012 09:17UT (+- 7 hours), and will also impact Messenger, Spitzer, MSL, and Mars.

NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center (http://swpc.noaa.gov) is the United States Government official source for space weather forecasts. Any information here should be considered "Experimental Research Information" and should be interpreted and used accordingly.

NASA GSFC Space Weather Center ( http://swc.gsfc.nasa.gov ) is addressing the space weather needs of NASA's robotic missions through research and education.

NASA GSFC Space Weather Center provides information about space environment conditions using state-of-the-art observational as well as model/simulation data. Certain products are derived from combinations of existing data sets as well as the output from coupled models or model chains. Consequently, it is important to note that space weather products may be in experimental or evaluation phases of development or deemed science quality only.
