a great new opportunity
By now it’s clear that the technology industry is facing diversity issues. These issues are even more intriguing when you consider that by 2020, traditional universities will only provide enough qualified graduates to fill 30 percent of tech-related jobs. This is why we believe General Assembly’s own philanthropic fellowship program, Opportunity Fund, represents a tremendous …

a new place to post
I was lucky enough to find this wonderful little secret room on the top of a building with twisty stairs leading up to a high story that overlooks the city. The owners took out one of the walls in the room and installed this glass picture window, though the other large windows are traditional with the windows looking out onto the streets and gardens from over the flower-filled window boxes. I awoke my first morning to the whole neighborhood singi...

only a trip a few years ago. I paid $17 a night! Just thought others might want to go too.
I did not eat in restaurants--I got takeout from the little stores on the shopping street. So I think my food budget was around $25.
for the 5 days I was there. Walking also saves money. Fortunately it wasn't raining. I attended a trade show for free w free passes and met with a
group doing streaming video tv. I haven't had any wherewithall to continue with setting up a media company BUT that said, I do have lots of ideas about the softwares for it and I have the
Telezeen.com tv browser/info organizer.
I have started digitalTerritory.org for non profit work spaces. I have a software for it and looking for spaces BUT we are doing a virtual group.
You might come and join in. I am also a KIVA zip trustee which gives $5,000 interest free loan for 6 months to people starting a project esp food related.

What are you doing these days?

Support his Cause--Liberal vs Islam.
Strange-isn't it -that liberals in the US support Islam when Islam is exactly the opposite of what they believe in.
Raif Badawi was sentenced to 1,000 lashes and 10 years in prison in the wake of the Paris Charlie Hebdo killings, and the world has watched on in horror.

It's always a pleasure to go to Newburgh Art Supply. There are very few stores with art supplies where you can go in and get your supplies immediately. The services is friendly and this store is the center of the yearly Art Studio Tour in City of Newburgh. I strongly disagree with the old review by the sourpuss.

The go-to place in this part of Orange County for Italian specialties you need. Arborio rice grown in Italy for risotto and nice cheeses, delicious homemade deli.Off the beaten track but you will discover they are authentic Little Italy quality.

First of all, this link is to the Paramont Hotel and it says the Wellington Hotel--two very different places. I have always liked the Paramount for a reasonable hotel to stay at overnight when it is just too late not to stay over. I like staying there even in the tiny rooms better than staying at a club guestroom. You can get great coffee in the morning and the showers are good. I think the location is excellent for the theater. Of course there are much more important and luxurious hotels in Manhattan so depends upon what you want and your budget. Paramont does not disappoint in the price/value/theater equation.

Google photo is out of date. This brand new LEED non-smoking rental building offers the luxury of: gorgeous building materials in a state of the art enviromentally clean building. A full service building with washer/dryers and dishwashers as well as stainless steel, hardwood, granite in every apartment--even the spacious studios. Bathrooms have designer finishes. There is the requisite roof top garden with real trees and a picnic table, parking, a large clublike cafe area with fireplace and garden, gym, and a party/billiard area for residents. The atmosphere is calm and soothing with top level security and management office, 24/7 concierge and Gourmet Garage and nearby Starbucks, Mt Sinai, 92nd St Y, and the Central Park Reservoir jogging track! Not to mention East Side museums. And the corner #6 subway.

It won't be long before the growing pains are over for this long awaited Italian from Italy retail store owned by the formidable Bastianich-Batali team. Everything is Made in Italy unless it is sourced fresh in which case it is Italian style. It is not perfect?-yet. Remember these are people who execute really well and whatever needs to be worked out-- will be.A lot of things are right to start with for people who love food. The location is great. The meat counter is the standout section with fabulous veal and gorgeous roasts reasonably priced. Genius pastry chef Luca Montersino shows off his wonderful gluten free innovative pastries--many new lines New Yorkers have not seen before like Barbero chocolates and Corsini biscotti. The bread counter is Wonderful-my favorite corn meal breads are there. Lovely coffee stop and gelato. With time there will be a filling out of product lines. Just Wait. That Lidia sure can cook and she will be teaching New Yorkers at the in-house cooking school. Best of LuckGuys!-You Have A True Winner with Eataly....NJPT
