yep, whatever works best for the composer I guess! I've found musescore to be an extremely awesome way to create quality music. You have to work with it a little though in order to get it looking as good as possible. :)

both work to my experience, but you still have to uninstal version 2.0 yourself.

Listen to this demo made with the default soundfont in MuseScore 2.0.1, which is greatly improved by +Michael Cowgill. The details as explained by Michael: "The only processing was mastering done with Sonitus fx Multiband Compressor. The TamTam sound was taken from the Roland Orchestral Rhythm soundfont. The reverb is the Zita Rev1 reverb found in the Effect section of the Synthesiser page with suitable adjustments to parameters."
