The tip of Cerro Torre emerges from the clouds, February 24, 2016. As seen from the valley of the Rio Fitzroy, Los Glaciares National Park, Argentina. Patagonia is an ongoing spectacle, not to be missed. The views change by the second. There is always something wonderful coming up!

The view from the Porcupine Rocks, Perisher Valley, Kosciuszko National Park, New South Wales, Australia. Summer in the Snowy Mountains on a sun-filled January day.

"And down by Kosciusko, where the pine-clad ridges raise
Their torn and rugged battlements on high,
Where the air is clear as crystal, and the white stars fairly blaze
At midnight in the cold and frosty sky..."
--A. B. "Banjo" Paterson
from the poem "The Man from Snowy River"

Our "Shikoku Temple Trek - Part II" just concluded in Japan. Those who have joined us for both the original Shikoku Temple Trek and the "Part II" trek have now visited up to 55 of the 88 temples that make up the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage. Here, a photo of hikers on the pilgrimage path between Temples 81 and 82 on the Goshikidai ("Five Colors") Plateau in the mountains to the west of the city of Takamatsu, Kagawa prefecture.

The fabulous Torri di Vajolet in the Dolomites as seen from Ciampedie. Part of the Rosengarten group and easily accessed from Vigo di Fassa in the Val di Fassa. The slender rock tower just to the left of the deep, "V"-shaped notch is the Torri Winkler. Enjoy this view on our "Dolomites II" trips in summer 2016.
