Would you downsize your home to a "tiny house?" Some were a little reluctant while others were very open to the idea at the Grand Rapids Cottage and Lakeshore Living Show.
"I'm not ready to give up all my crap, but it's an awesome idea," said Holland resident Chris Pearson after walking through 150-square-foot "tiny house" at the 2015 Cottage and Lakefront Living Show.

One principal is going to have a chilly night. As part of Haven Elementary's "Camp Read" theme for March is Reading Month, principal Shelly DuRussel will camp out on the roof of the school after her students surpassed their month-long reading goal.
One local educator is in for a chilly night after an achieved reading goal sent her to the roof of Havens Elementary School with a pup tent.

Health and school officials are not sure yet how many healthy students at Birmingham schools will be sitting home until at least April 14 after three cases of chicken pox were diagnosed early this week in the district. But a health department mandate issued Thursday says that some will be, unless they get vaccinated.
Exclusion from class is "a very real consequence" of choosing not to immunize children, a health department official said.
