I was thinking of something similar, but honestly I am more concerned with increasing the traffic safety for pedestrians and drivers. Until that's covered I'm not sure an automated vehicle can become a truly justified design in terms of both market and ethics.

Race should matter to no more an extent than ensuring a proportional representation of the college age cohort based upon skin melanin...and the aforementioned only as a benchmark to affirm just treatment between melanin clusters.

A moral quandary: People want driverless cars to be as pedestrian-friendly as possible — unless they're riding in them. So how should they be programmed?

Introduction
MIT is a world-class educational institution where teaching and research — with relevance to the practical world as a guiding principle — continue to be its primary purpose.

MIT is independent, coeducational, and privately endowed. Its five schools and one college encompass numerous academic departments, divisions and degree-granting programs, as well as interdisciplinary centers, laboratories and programs whose work cuts across traditional departmental boundaries.
