Climate change... that's every day use better words. Global warming(naturally?) Man made global warming politically lying about our tiny carbon foot print compared to two major volcano eruptions coming both from the ring of fire region. Is it real? Climate change is, if it stayed the same we would either drown or never get rain. Global warming, is its a cycle like the climate. Man made? Doubt that's more pivotal than the volcano eruptions, but its the government spraying crap into the clouds, so ask them why the hell they keep doing that for California's lack of water sake.

Prof. Hugh Herr speaks about his work developing bionic limbs on Popular Science’s Futuropolis podcast. When asked about what sort of capabilities bionics may be able to give humans in the future, Herr explains his view that, “If something is possible given physical law, given the laws of nature, then I think ultimately humans will explore it.” http://mitsha.re/RuSFS
We have the technology (or at least some of it)

Introduction
MIT is a world-class educational institution where teaching and research — with relevance to the practical world as a guiding principle — continue to be its primary purpose.

MIT is independent, coeducational, and privately endowed. Its five schools and one college encompass numerous academic departments, divisions and degree-granting programs, as well as interdisciplinary centers, laboratories and programs whose work cuts across traditional departmental boundaries.
