+C Soelman Yes, magnets. Did you know Jupiter was on its way to becoming a star, and just coincidentally its magnetic field is bigger than the sun's. Oh yeah, neutron stars started collapsing but was halted. And even though some of them are much larger than the minimum mass to form a black hole, they're still visible, and get this...some have the strongest magnetic fields in the universe. Look at it: Electro-Weak → Strong Force → Gravity. I'm working on it, but still a long way to go.

Introduction
MIT is a world-class educational institution where teaching and research — with relevance to the practical world as a guiding principle — continue to be its primary purpose.

MIT is independent, coeducational, and privately endowed. Its five schools and one college encompass numerous academic departments, divisions and degree-granting programs, as well as interdisciplinary centers, laboratories and programs whose work cuts across traditional departmental boundaries.
