Midnight Syndicate Live! has returned to +Cedar Point's #HalloWeekends. "We have a brand new set list and story, making this show a completely different experience from the last time we performed here in 2014," said Edward Douglas. "I am extremely excited about the changes and I think audiences are in for a real treat."

Since the Good Time Theater that housed the show previously was torn down for expansion, the new show is being performed in the 500-seat Jack Aldrich Theater. "I think that every performance space has it's own unique character, and we definitely wanted to take full advantage of the more intimate feel of the Aldrich Theater," said Gavin Goszka. "We're able to do some things here performance-wise that simply wouldn't have worked in a larger venue, and the fact that the audience is physically closer to the stage will hopefully pull them into the show in a very powerful and immersive way."

The new show runs multiple times daily every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from now through October 29th. Both Gavin and Ed will be making appearances after each show in the Midnight Syndicate merch tent outside the theater (which will be loaded with great stuff including brand new t-shirts, hoodies, and more!).

If you are headed to #Monsterpalooza this weekend, be sure to stop by and meet Edward Douglas at the Midnight Syndicate booth in Exhibit Hall C - # C12. Once again, we're honored to have Midnight Syndicate's music set the atmosphere for the amazing Monsterpalooza Museum. As always there will be a ton of celebrities there including our friends Robert Kurtzman, Tom Savini, the Lugosi, Chaney, and Karloff families, Robert Englund, and many more. This Rondo Award-winning convention has become a "can't miss" event for horror fans on the west coast and beyond. We hope to see some of you there! #Monsterpalooza2017

We are thrilled to announce that Midnight Syndicate Live! will be returning to +Cedar Point's #HalloWeekends event this fall. We have a new show that we can't wait to unleash. Here's the official press release...

CLEVELAND, Ohio, March 15, 2017 – Halloween and horror music legends Midnight Syndicate will bring their critically-acclaimed concert experience, Midnight Syndicate Live!, back to the world famous amusement park, Cedar Point this fall. The horror-themed multimedia concerts blending live music, theatre, and film will run Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays from September 15 through October 29 in the Jack Aldrich Theater at Cedar Point’s 21st annual HalloWeekends event.

“We’ve developed a new, even better show that we can’t wait to unleash on audiences,” said Midnight Syndicate’s Edward Douglas. “Our new venue, the Jack Aldrich Theater, is a perfect fit for what we want to do. It will allow us to create an intimate and thrilling experience that guests won’t soon forget.”

“Working with Cedar Point in 2014 was a great experience across the board, so to be able to team up with them again, especially as a part of Midnight Syndicate’s 20th anniversary celebration, is perfect,” added Gavin Goszka.

“We’re excited that Midnight Syndicate is bringing their live and immersive stage show back to Cedar Point this fall,” said Charles Bradshaw, V.P. of Live Entertainment at Cedar Point. “Fans of their mesmerizing music loved their previous run at HalloWeekends – and they’re going to love this latest production.”

For the new show, Midnight Syndicate will once again be calling upon special effects legend Robert Kurtzman (From Dusk Till Dawn, KNB EFX) and his Creature Corps, David “House” Greathouse (Faceoff, Mushroomhead), Beki Ingram (Faceoff), director Gary Jones (Army of Darkness, Axe Giant), 529 Films, EFX-TEK, artist Mark Rakocy, and Screamline Studios.

Another really great review for our #Zombies!!! board game soundtrack. This one comes from Doctor of the Dead at G2V Productions who calls it "... a brilliant new release! ...one of the most enjoyable and skin-crawling musical recreations of the apocalypse you’re likely to hear" - http://www.atbpublishing.com/g2vpodcast/zombies-official-board-game-soundtrack-2016/

Here's a lost classic from our "Raven's Hollow: Realm of Shadows Reissue" entitled "Among the Ruins"

Edward Douglas: "Since "Born of the Night," Gavin and/or I have written or co-written the music for every Midnight Syndicate song with this one exception. This is "Among The Ruins" from the "Raven's Hollow: Realm of Shadows Reissue" and it was co-written by our engineer, Timothy Blue. Beyond contributing this song, Tim's countless hours in the studio with Gavin and I engineering both "Realm of Shadows" and "Born of the Night" helped craft the sound of those discs. To me, "Realm of Shadows" is one of our most atmospheric discs - the best to read to or just leave on in the background. It has a dark yet subtly beautiful vibe to the sound and that is in part because of the work Tim did. I hope you enjoy this track!

"Raven's Hollow: Realm of Shadows Reissue" is available on Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, and through the Midnight Syndicate website - www.midnightsyndicate.com
