"[Keith] Blaisdell’s interest in television began as a child and continued through his time at Messiah. 'I always knew I wanted to be in TV,' said Blaisdell. 'I thought having a broader liberal arts degree would give me ore flexibility than a radio/television major, so that’s why I chose Messiah. A liberal arts degree teaches you to listen, to think critically and, for me, taught me a great deal about working as a team, which is what broadcasting is all about.'”

Alumna Krystal Robinson-Bert’s faith greatly impacts her career path, and inspires her daily.  She says, “The individuals that you meet in the healthcare setting are usually in their most vulnerable state.  I often remember Matthew 25:40, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’  Being able to treat individuals in their hardest, unpolished and vulnerable moments can be a great opportunity to show and act out God’s unconditional love and grace.”

"It was incredible to me to see the joy and love that these people had, even though they don’t have much here on earth," writes Emily Martz '14. "I've never seen people more willing to put other people first and to worship God with their lives. If there is one thing I learned while in Africa, it is to love and worship God as you are, how you want and with your whole heart and being."
