My daughter, Krissy decorated this egg last night....we were all so shocked at how amazing it was and I wanted to share it with you.  I posted another photo that looked like it could have been a photoshopped image so I wanted to post this one so you could tell it is actually a real egg that I held in my hand and used my iphone to take a picture of....no photoshopping!

Appalachian Trail, North Carolina/ Tennessee border, USA. I captured this image from my camping spot for the night.  As always happens in the mountains, it got real chilly right after the sun set, but I was toasty warm as always in my down bag. :)

Any more questions?
Hello! I am planning an out and back on the Sinkyone section of the Lost Coast trail. Planning on 4 days but flexible for 5. Any advice on which route to take, North to South and back or South to North and back? Any advice for us? Thanks!

You'd probably be more comfortable leaving your car at the North end where the parking lot is pretty near the highway and the area is well maintained.  The South trailhead is pretty rednecky and rundown......however.....starting at the North end, you have Chemise Mountain to deal with right away which is pretty big and steep and will be even tougher on the way back to your car.  Starting at Usal on the South end, the scenery will instantly be more impressive and continuous through your out and back hike, giving you a better experience over all and you would be miss the absolute toughest part of the whole trail which is Chemise Mountain at the north end of the South section.  :)  So those are my first thoughts for you.  Maybe just leave an empty car at Usal and it will be fine.  :)
