I read this book a while back, good book, but someone took the characters and made them into FAE characters. Pretty cool

Quick question that just occurred to me. I am curious how you play your game. Do you use minis (physical or digital, essentially something on a map to represent the characters) or a more narrative way without miniatures at all?

Edit: I am curious specifically with regard to how you play FAE.

Drawings, quick doodles, maps, on a piece of paper..advantages that are successfully created are drawn in as well..with character tokens, penny or whatever

Just curious, how many people are running P&P games regularly? I tried with my group but they were swayed last fall to the 5e side and then around the new year our group faltered and fell apart.

Dropped this one on Patreon just moments ago. Going back to old school today. I recently mailed out a handful of the original maps to some of my backers so I was looking at some of the old maps I used to draw and realized it have been awhile since I had drawn what got me into this in the first place so I wanted to do something real old school.

Hope you enjoy and thanks to my backers on Patreon, appreciate all your support!
Going back to my old style with this map, I figured it had been a while since I provided a truly old school map like I used to. Attached a good deal of variations on the color and background on this one for you to use. I also added two versions without a title in case you wanted to use it in your games with a different name.Hope you all enjoy this map,Matt

Morning all. I am looking to purchase a new laptop here soon and I am eyeing all of the new Win10 laptops that are on sale everywhere. I have heard rumors about the difficulty of getting to the BIOS and booting from a USB device on some of the newer laptops with Windows. I was wondering if anyone had taken one of these new laptops and installed elementary on one, what roadblocks they encountered, etc Thanks in advance.

One I am looking at:

OK, I ended up spending a little more than I planned and got a Dell Inspirion 15 (i5, 6gb, 1tb). Very sexy looking machine. I only messed around a little with the boot loaded, when you switch to legacy you cannot load Windows 10 at all, it will simply tell you there is not device located.

Next step is partitioning the HDD, with 1TB of storage, I have plenty of space to play with...

After visiting two other veterinarians in town I came here with a near emergency situation with my older dog. These guys got us in quickly on a Saturday without an appointment. The doctor was friendly and knowledgeable and knew exactly what was going on within minutes of seeing our old friend. The doctor prescribed medicine for our situation and did not try to sell us on additional tests of medication we did not need (unlike most vets I have been to). Friendly, caring and mindful of out pet's needs. These guys just win over a new customer.

So much for Hot & Ready. Visited at 1:20 on a Saturday afternoon, three families say on the tables eating so it wasn't like they were that busy. I stood at register for almost ten minutes before I was waited on. Then was told it would be twenty five minutes before the pizza would be ready. I was not the only unhappy person. Whole i waited for my pizza I saw two people wait to order, never get waited on, and leave without placing an order. Should have just driven up to the Tiny Town store....it would have been faster!

BBQ is good, ok on price but be aware that there is no seating. Sauces are good but their idea of hot leaves me wondering if they ever had hot sauce anywhere else. Slaw is ok but bland, beans are very smokey in flavor. Cash or check only, no credit or debit card.
