Should I build a new PC (so messy), buy a super tricked out all-in-one (so expensive), buy a MacBook Pro retina and Boot Camp that noise or give up PC gaming forever (but I'm a REALLY good sniper in Battlefield 3). Every option seems terrible in some kind of way.

Build. You can make a near high end PC for $1k easily, more if you want to splurge on graphics. If you want, give more details (requirements, preference, etc) and I can throw together an ideal build for you.

Bye Google Reader. Hello Everything Readers.

I prefer Feedly.  That seems to be the one Android users, in particular, are leaning towards.  Feedly just sounds more...complete.  Digg reader also came out kind of last minute.  I think a lot of non-procrastinators had already chosen other services.  It is really like you said, Feedly works for me but maybe not for others.

I wish they'd give the Google Reader app on Android the love that's been applied to the Google+ and Gmail apps. It's nice, and the widget works, but it could be better.

I think what David wrote is this old, long forgotten thing called "journalism".  The idea of journalism was to give "unbiased and fair reporting of facts such that readers could make up their own minds on a topic".  The New York Times is one of the few remaining places where traditional "journalism" can still be found.

Often times in todays world, people mistake "gadget reviews" as journalism, but reality, those reviews are just cheaply paid for advertising by giving not-so-great-writers a bunch of free products.  Rarely have I seen a "gadget review" that gives me anything useful.  They usually just spout of specs.

It appears from the comments, at least one reader in Australia was indeed inspired to buy the product after reading David's review - looks to me like someone was helped in making a decision about technology.  After reading the article, I have to say I feel comfortable knowing the pro's and con's of Samsungs new offering in comparison to existing products - and I think that was David Pogue's objective.

Sorry Matt Buchanan.
