#pulseofboston #massachusetts +Visit Boston
Over the course of the past couple months, talk of warmer weather has been easier to come by than actual warm weather in Massachusetts. This last week, however, has reminded us all that sunny days and breezier temperatures are indeed making their way here in real earnest now. And as spring moves into the city, our new website, #PulseOfBoston, gives you a gorgeous new way to watch it all.

One of Boston's most eclectic neighborhoods, Jamaica Plain is a truly unique place. Take a virtual tour on MassFinds.

#massachusetts #travel
For most Bostonians, Jamaica Plain (or “JP,” as most call it) is a neighborhood distinguished by the tranquil waters of Jamaica Pond, the diverse retail milieu of Centre Street, and attractive green spaces, including the Parley Vale Preserve. Most casual visitors to Boston don’t get over that way, and that’s quite a shame.

If your next trip to Martha's Vineyard will be your first one, what should you see and do? Our latest guest blogger offers a guide on MassFinds.
I am a Cape Codder, born and raised. But the islands of Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard? That’s a different story. Truth be told, my feet had not touched the soil of either island until recently.

Like baseball, whale watching season begins in April. Unlike baseball, whale watching never breaks your heart! Find three spots to plan a trip on MassFinds.

A new season at Fenway isn’t the only dependable sign of spring’s arrival in Massachusetts. Along with being the official beginning to baseball season, April is also the unofficial start to whale watching season in Massachusetts, which generally runs through October.

Posted by Maureen Turner, guest blogger of Yiddish Book Center. Growing up in New York's Catskills region in the 1980s and '90s, Marisa Scheinfeld had an impressive playground at her disposal: the resort area long known as the Borscht Belt, once nicknamed the Jewish Alps.
