Interesting !

What would the world look like if we re-sized each country in proportion to its population? Pretty darn crazy!

Canada is reduced to a line. Greenland is gone! You'll never think of Russia the same way again. Madagascar was a surprise.

Check out the contrast between Australia and Papua province (and Australians are FREAKED OUT about immigrants overrunning their country!).

Hong Kong and Singapore are bigger than Mongolia and New Zealand. China and India you expect. But check out Greater Delhi, bigger than many countries, and  Mexico City!

Some parts are reassuring. South America is pretty much like... South America.

I hope the map gives each country a bit of context around its place, literally, in the world.

My latest post- why the "human side" still matters with our corporate editorial programs (think journalists and story-telling)

Painfully true, and so cleverly done-excellent!
Danish writer/artist duo Mikael Wulff and Anders Morgenthaler create comedy cartoons and graphs depicting the everyday struggles, irritations, and insights of their fellow Westerners. Official-looking graphs show unofficial statistics from our daily lives that are at once unexpected and glaringly obvious.

Amazing photos & collection reflecting the "human experience."  Even in the digital age, nothing captures the human condition and range of emotions like great photography-and this is some of the best on the planet.

....based on my experience at Cisco, HP and several other companies where we worked with their bloggers...
Don’t you hate writer’s block? You know you have brilliant ideas, but there’s that damn blank screen staring at you when you sit down to blog. Nothing happens. The brain’s in idle. Frustration begins

Introduction
I"m a senior communications consultant with a broad background in executive communications, social media, marketing, traditional media, and editorial. My roots are in journalism (Bureau Chief/Editor, BusinessWeek magazine), and over the years of working in high-tech corporate communications and marketing jobs I've parlayed that into a passion for helping companies tell their stories, sharpen their communications strategies and connect with key audiences. I love creating new ground breaking programs, interesting people and Pacific sunsets...and sometimes a glass of good wine.
