"No turning back now. The internet has killed the High Street and I'm as guilty as anyone. It started with books and CD's which I discovered could be bought cheaper on Amazon. Then, like most others, I quickly discovered that you could buy everything from washing machines to North Face parkas cheaper on line. Add in the horrific parking facilities in town and cities, the all pervading atmosphere of gloom, dereliction and decay, the homeless sleeping in doorways, the litter and grime...etc" https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2017/apr/12/high-streets-new-shops-new-ideas-suzanne-moore#comments
