Looking for something fun to build yourself? Check this out! http://muo.fm/1LKH9Qf
We love the RetroPie project here at MakeUseOf, and with the launch of the Raspberry Pi 2, it's even more powerful than ever – able to emulate up to Playstation 1 and N64 games with ease. For an authentic gaming experience, you'll want some real buttons and an arcade cabinet. Most RetroPie cabinet builds either use…

Mad Max is here! But should you go see it? http://muo.fm/1J5Qy58
A full 30 years after the release of Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, George Miller revisits post-apocalyptic Australia with Mad Max: Fury Road, a reboot which sees Tom Hardy replace Mel Gibson. Fury Road isn't a direct sequel to Thunderdome, instead it takes place at an unspecified time earlier in the series' chronology. In the film,…

The movie was Excellent, a true continuation of the Mad Max story.  It was everything Thunderdome should have been and wasn't.  This was the Epic restart the Road Warrior deserves, and I hope that Tom Hardy and George Miller create more.

Here's a little secret: ransomware sucks. http://muo.fm/1LFT8he
There are plenty of threats on the Internet, but few can be as scary as ransomware. These particularly nasty bits of malware not only infect a user's computer, but they end up trying to get money out of them! It's a despicable thing to do, but sadly, it's part of the world in which we…

Not really - if Linux gained market dominance, you'd see malware target it too.

Struggling to figure out how to best use your Apple Watch for business? We've got you covered. http://muo.fm/1LFSUXi
Many Apple Watch apps were already available when early adopters started receiving their watches in April. With more apps arriving all the time, and only a small amount of space available on the device, it can be hard to know which ones to try or which ones you really need. Business professionals in particular may have…

Can't find a movie to watch? We feel your pain and we have the solution! http://muo.fm/1HJ67AX
Hollywood churns out so many movies that it is very difficult to keep up with all the new releases. And it's not just Hollywood - there are also all the older ones you've missed, the British-made movies, the Bollywood movies, the independent movies, and the foreign movies with subtitles. The list goes on and on. For…

Uh oh.
Users of online dating site Adult FriendFinder – and the various alternative sites in its network – have been left with concerns after it emerged that the database of almost 4 million records has been hacked and leaked. AdultFriendFinder: A Social Network for Sex Unfamiliar with Adult FriendFinder? It's essentially a dating website (a phenomenon…

Don't buy games from the Mac App Store. http://muo.fm/1J2uiKT
The Mac App Store doesn't hold a candle to the same store used by iPhone and iPad users to guzzle apps, games and in-app purchases. On a Mac, you're not limited to one store, and if you're into gaming you should take full advantage of that privilege. Despite being a relatively consumer-friendly way of discovering and installing…

How'd you like to win a free drone? http://muo.fm/1LFTggw
Over the past few years one company has become synonymous with camera drones: DJI. Any time you see an awesome video shot with a quadcopter, the chances are they used one of the Chinese manufacturer's products. There are three quadcopters in DJI's popular Phantom 2 line: the Phantom 2, Phantom 2 Vision and Phantom 2…

Before you buy an Android tablet, read this. http://muo.fm/1LFSZug
Apple may have made tablets mainstream again, but the iPad has little variety to speak of. Either you get the 10-inch iPad Air or the 8-inch iPad Mini, and the only difference between the two is size. There are a lot more options if you're buying an Android tablet, so let's make it easier to…

Google's answer to this question is, well, surprising to say the least. http://muo.fm/1SBgmKL
Google is apparently a creationist organization, and thinks dinosaurs are used to indoctrinate children into believing that earth is millions of years old. No, they didn't put out a statement saying so. But if you Googled the term "What happened to the dinosaurs?" earlier today, you'd have seen some "information" from Ken Ham's Answers In Genesis that contradicts the…

Job interviews sure aren't like they used to be. http://muo.fm/1KwoLMX
For most of us, job interviews are just a part of life. They can be a little scary if you aren't prepared, but as long as you go in smart, you have nothing to worry about. Over time, job interviews have changed. The way in which we pitch ourselves for a job now was vastly…
