Just took a look at his site and the photos from this series. Great work. I do have to agree with Onur that Culver City, West LA and Hollywood are not the underbelly of LA but they are the "fake village" reference he is implying.

I'm LA born and bred and in those areas he would be able to get away with this experiment but I wonder if he could do this in Watts, Compton, Inglewood or East LA were working class and poverty stricken cities are very much under the radar of his camera.

I have finally gotten around to creating that portfolio on 500px. Just getting my feet wet with a few sets that I have been working on for the past 5 years. It's a big step for me personally and hope you enjoy it with definitely more to come. Thank you for supporting and enjoy!

Jae Bueno, fellow LA photographer passed away June 25th. Jae is the photographer I admired the most with his automotive photography of custom car culture in Southern California. His photography grabbed my attention as I would flip through the pages of Lowrider magazine. Jae will be missed but his influence on so many will endure. Thank you "My Friend". Rest in peace Jae Bueno. #ItsAllBueno

Check out the photo recap of Steel Giants II at GCS Clothing in Pomona. Another great night of train art and photography that was inspired by it.
