Can not contact sales at Lockheed Martin or General Atomics. No info companies. Makes it rather hard to send them drone orders. Client wants unarmed models for testing his new technology cameras and sensors..
Today, we unveiled our solution for the U.S. Air Force's Advanced Pilot Training competition. Discover why the T-50A is the most effective and affordable way to train the next generation of pilots to fly, fight and win: http://lmt.co/1RtQdhF
What if smart grids were more like you?! [Cue the sci-fi music]
VirtuGrid maps the network like our brains neural circuit. Crazy, right? But whether it is within a human nervous system or across a virtual power grid, data needs a path to travel. This technology means faster mapping and response to outages.
In addition to building up new energy sources or finding new reserves of traditional energy, we see an additional way to meet growing energy demands – improving energy efficiency through engineering and innovation.
Special Delivery. A new and improved Orion crew module arrived at Kennedy Space Center (KSC) February 1. This is the first major delivery of Exploration Mission -1 (EM-1) flight hardware. http://lmt.co/1UQYcnK
Our A2100 satellite, the baseline of the JCSAT-17 for the SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation, will be outfitted with a flexible payload that allows the satellite to rapidly shift where it "sees and connects."
This capability will help the satellite respond to areas of high-volume demand including aiding in disaster relief. http://lmt.co/1R2ht6y
The Future of Optical Technology. Telescopes could dramatically shrink in the future with a gen-after-next technology called SPIDER. A thin, scalable array of tiny lenslets piece together visual information like a jigsaw puzzle—a science called interferometry—and will eliminate all the bulk of traditional telescopes. Lighter instruments that are faster to build mean cheaper launches, multi-mission spacecraft and even benefits down here on Earth: http://lmt.co/1QO25uF
Having over four zettabytes of information is no good if you don't use it! Take a look at how our scientists are utilizing data on how the body and mind perform under stress to help people work smarter, not harder: http://lmt.co/1Rt2ToW
The first GPS III satellite for the U.S. Air Force, Space Vehicle 01 (SV01), completed system-level Thermal Vacuum (TVAC) testing, validating the design of the entire assembled satellite. TVAC is a rigorous test designed to prove a satellite's integrity and operational capabilities by subjecting it to prolonged cycles of simulated space temperature extremes in a special depressurized chamber. http://lmt.co/1R5HCkV
When seconds matter, soldiers rely on the detailed training they receive to know exactly what to do in the most stressful and dangerous situations. Smithsonian’s Air & Space Magazine explores how the U.S. Army trains for a nuclear attack using our Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system. Read more here: http://lmt.co/1QUZXBh
