In 1895, a little steam engine was constructed at the Swiss Locomotive and Machine then delivered to help with the construction of a 4.7-mile mountain railway. The Snowdon Mountain Railway opened the following year and the little steam engine is still around taking visitors to experience the awe inspiring journey to the summit of Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales.
