George Church, a serial entrepreneur and genomics pioneer at Harvard, is one of our honorees at this year’s #GeniusGala. In February, he launched his latest startup – Nebula Genomics – which plans to reduce genome cost to the patient from $999 today to $0 (or even pay them), and securely query the data via blockchain and other encryption tools so patients receive permanent ownership of their DNA data.

Laurie Santos, a professor of psychology at Yale and director of Yale’s Comparative Cognition Laboratory and Canine Cognition Center, is one of our honorees at this year’s #GeniusGala. Dr. Santos’ work focuses on what is unique about the human mind by comparing the cognitive abilities of humans, monkeys, and dogs.

This weekend we celebrate the grand opening of the Weston Family Lab for Earth and Space Exploration. This stunning new exhibition and laboratory classroom is home to "Science on a Sphere," a six-foot suspended globe developed by NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration.
