I appreciate the highlighting of women who are making the choice not ti have children due to not wanting to bring a child into the world with this crisis, but this, said by one of the authors of the study?

"Nicholas also said she believes lowering your own energy consumption is more important than deciding not to have children: 'It’s not so much about whether you choose to have a child. It’s about what kind of lifestyle you choose to raise that child in.'"

On sterilization, seems similar in Nova Scotia as commonly in the States: Her partner getting a vasectomy "was a trivial matter. He was barely even questioned by the physician. For me however, it turned out to be a lengthy and difficult process."
