Long range weather forecast models indicate a rather potent weather system coming into Washington late on Friday and sweeping through the state Friday night into Saturday.
But it looks like there is a change coming later this week and into the weekend that could at least bring a little bit of good news to the front fire lines: Some rain.

The SafeWise report gave a caveat that any city's law enforcement agency that didn't report complete crime data to the FBI was disqualified from their list.
A report citing FBI crime data has named Tukwila the second most dangerous city in America, coming in behind Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

The lawsuit accuses the city of violating Washington state law. City Attorney Pete Holmes says the tax falls squarely under the Seattle's taxing authority.
The National Rifle Association says it is suing the city of Seattle over its adoption this month of a "gun violence tax" as well as mandatory reporting of lost or stolen firearms.
