The 2015 International Youth Arts Festival​ opens in venues all over Kingston today (3 July) for two weeks packed with dance, drama, music, art, stand-up comedy, workshops and everything in between.

Kingston Uni students are involved in IYAF for months ahead of the festival, from helping with project management, working in the press and marketing teams, and volunteering their time at the events. Young people come from across the world to perform at the festival with many of our own students take part!

Good luck to all the KU students performing at the festival! Many of the shows and events are free, check out the full programme via the link below.

Kingsfest 2015 is the place to be this Saturday(6 June)! Dance, Drama and Music students take to the @rosetheatre stage for a whole day of free performances!

Bands will be playing from 12-1pm & 5-6.30 in the studio, with acoustic music in the bar at 1-1.45 & 6-7.15pm.
Film screenings take place in the gallery from 1.30-2.30pm & 4-5.30pm
Music ensembles on the main stage at 3-4pm
Dance & Drama headline the main stage from 7.30pm
