We had a very exciting delivery at #kiddicaru #miltonkeynes last week – via robot! The children love learning about technology and were fascinated to see our fruit ordered on the app, then the robot delivered it to our nursery. The little ones were so excited…so were the adults!

The children at #kiddicaru #northampton enjoyed a very civilised afternoon tea with their friends and teddy bears. They enjoyed the responsibility of using the real china tea set, displayed great concentration when pouring milk and tea for one another and were very careful when handling the fragile cups and saucers. We hope you all have a lovely weekend, cheers!

Despite the growing cold weather, the children at #kiddicaru #basingstoke have been exploring their natural environment, enjoying woodland walks and collecting leaves, twigs and a variety of resources to create collages back in the nursery. All working towards their Woodland Trust Silver Award. During their travels the children even discovered a Christmas theme Basing stone which they shared with their friends and the practitioners used to discuss the concept of our community.

Fibre optics, bubble tubes, light displays, an amazing interactive floor mat - these are just some of the things you’ll find in our new sensory room in #kiddicaru #whiteley. Children love the stimulation and sensory experience these rooms bring. So, keep a look our for an invitation to our grand opening, coming soon!

We hung onto our hats and celebrated in style to participate in #NationalHatDay! The children at #KiddiCaru in Wellingborough were invited to bring along a hat from home, whether it was woolly, straw or even a cowboy hat! The children and staff even designed and created their very own hats and proudly showcased them around the rooms to show their friends and families!

Did you create one of our #KiddiCaru bird feeders over the weekend? If your little one enjoyed seeing all the different birds visiting your garden, then why not join the #BigGardenBirdWatch?
Sign up to count the birds you can see from the warm comfort of your window and help the #RSPB to survey the UK’s bird population.

The little ones at #KiddiCaru in #Northampton have fully embraced #winter and even joyed bringing the outside in with ice play activities. The team included their Arctic animals which the children had great fun balancing on their 'ice bergs'.

The children at #KiddiCaru in Caldecotte brought a sense of calm to the nursery as they practised their #yoga moves. Including the Biralasana (Cat Pose), Tadasana (mountain Pose) and Vrksasana (Tree Pose). These positions help the little ones to relax and explore their balance and flexibility. http://ow.ly/i/KvAQo

At #KiddiCaru we love to include real objects into our role play area, to help spark the little ones’ imaginations! So, the children at Kiddi Caru Whiteley took a trip to #Tesco to purchase fresh fruit and vegetables. They spotted some favourites such as broccoli and apples, as well as discovering others such as swede and starfruit. The children practised their mathematical skills by comparing the difference sizes and weighing the produce on the scales. They then worked as a team to identify the item on the checkout screen! A wonderful way to turn a simple trip to the supermarket into an educational experience! http://ow.ly/i/Kvyre
