Dear brothers and sisters, dear enemies and friends:

Please consider making a 10, 20, or 50 dollar donation to my virtual offering bowl. I'm receiving training over the next six-months in mindful leadership techniques so that I will be able to better serve in the world.

Will you contribute to a better world through a leader you personally support?

Sincerely,
Kevin Bogle

Just got back from hearing Julianna Barwick in Seattle. Gorgeousity made real.

Only to the extent that we expose ourselves over and over to annihilation can that which is indestructible be found within us. #pema

From when HHDL and I coincidentally crossed paths at the airport.

My friend and I were connecting to a flight and saw a lot of paparazzi waiting for someone. We asked them who and I was surprised to hear His Holiness would be the in a few minutes. We joined a small crowd of reporters.

As His Holiness approached the gate, someone asked how he felt about the situation between China and Tibet. This was during the Beijing Olympics when many people worldwide were protesting the Chinese government and trying to raise awareness of human rights issues related to the TAR.

His Holiness responded as he has for years. "It is an unfortunate situation and people on both sides are suffering. We must learn to respect the other side while maintaining our cultural heritage." The middle way.

I loved that moment. It was my first genuine connection to lineage and has played a very important part in my own development and dismantling.

I especially like the Kasung who is staring directly at me with a piercing awareness yet gentleness, ready to respond to whatever situation arises.
