Doesn't get much better than bacon & biscuits. #recipe   http://ow.ly/MCm9T
For those mornings when you wake up smelling bacon frying in your mind . . . these biscuits provide a moist cheese and bacon flavored carrier for your favorite bacon slices (and whatever else you want to pile on the "sandwich.") I enjoyed mine last weekend with a dollop of homemade strawberry-fig preserves. This is a way to have that great bacon flavor in the bread without having to chop up bacon and put it into the dough.

Everyone's favorite breakfast foods combined into one easy #recipe   http://ow.ly/MvzhA
Lots of people call this a "quiche" and I guess that is what it is... But this is made a little differently. This is a terrific breakfast to have for those on the go... I make one or two at a time, slice them and keep the slices in freezer bags. I thaw one at a time and microwave them when ready to eat!

At my house we believe that bacon makes everything better! So I figured, why not Crab Cakes, too?

The charring from the cedar plank gives this salmon SO much flavor! #recipe     http://ow.ly/MOhPK
The product of some lake house weekend cooking creativity, this recipe has evolved to become a family favorite - and don't underestimate the salmon salad you could make from leftovers! Enjoy!

Aunt Susan was definitely on to something here ... get the #recipe   http://ow.ly/MvkVq
This is a very old recipe, from Aunt Susan's newspaper food column. My husband's grandmother made it for him often, it is his favorite cake. There is an uncooked, beaten egg yolk in the frosting. Research on the internet indicates it adds richness to the frosting. I don't know how the frosting would change if it were omitted, I have always used it and it has never caused a problem.

Grab your rolls, toss your romaine & get ready for a completely wonderful Italian meal! http://ow.ly/Mvk0H
There are many many uses for my grandmother's canned peppers in red sauce. (Recipe in recipe box) I like to share these creations to show just how versatile that delicious recipe can be. For this recipe, I used mild Italian turkey sausage from our local butcher shop. If you prefer heat, you can use hot sausage, or sausage of your choice and it will work just as well. For my daughter, I made GF rice pasta (which is delicious by the way!). The p...
