Nice lunch in this small place on the road between the different temples. It's not a fancy place but it's very convenient for a small lunch break. The owner do everything on his own and in front of you. A few combination menus at interesting prices. Considering the kind of restaurant, it's a nice one :)

Very close to the Shinkansen train station. Very convenient for a first stop after your arrival. There are some indication at the train station that you can follow. Go down the train station to go behind it. Then 5 to 10 min walking later, you're in the middle of nowhere with this quite beautiful waterfall! :)

Nothing really amazing in this park but worth the tour if you're in Kobe. A nice view on the tower (better at night), and the Kobe port earthquake memorial nearby (worth it, go there!). It's a clean and relax area where you can chill out and have a walk...

A little but aside from downtown but worth the trip! The whole visit is free and there are many videos in English to explain all the different processes of sake brewing. Very interesting! And the visit ends with a free testing of 5 different sake. The only drawback is that there are no real staff around to answer you if you have any question... Only the staff from the gift shop.

The zoo nearby might be interesting but don't go there if you're looking for a nice place to visit during cherry blossom season. This park is just a walk around an American football field. Only a few cherry trees and does not worth the trip... Quite disappointing

Kobe port earthquake memorial A small but interesting memorial about the big earthquake from January 1995. A part of the port have been kept as it was right after the earthquake. Impressive! Some pictures and a video also show the terrible damages they had.
