The 3rd volume in the Sessions series brings together a trio of much loved producers for some untitled, all-star collaborations. Regular collaborators Dynamo Dreesen and SVN are joined by A Made Up Sound. The threesome hits the ground running on the A-side workout, which sounds like an alien techno interpretation of 1990 British "bleep and bass" - all tipsy sub-bass, intoxicating bleeps and skewed TB-303 motifs. On the flip they pepper a snappy, pitched-down ghetto house groove with dreamy synthesiser flourishes ('Untitled 2'), before bathing in a bath of liquid hallucinogens on the rhythmic ambient weirdness of 'Untitled 3'.

Asa Moto impressed with last year's debut EP, the double A-side synth-pop delight that was 'Stay Awake/Wanowan Efem'. This follow-up for DEEWEE, co-produced by label founders (and Soulwax members) David and Stephen Dewaele, is every bit as impressive, even if its 4 tracks draw on a much wider palette of influences. Opener 'Systema Naturae' wraps sharp, rave type stabs around a jaunty drum machine groove, deep melody flourishes and warped analogue bass, while 'Make Me Prada' is an exercise in alien funk/ambient/synth-pop fusion. On the flip you'll find the bleep-laden analogue house thrust of 'Athina', while closer 'Syriacid' is a sweaty jog through acid-fired deep house pastures with wayward pop overtones.

Sample-based, hip-hop influenced house label Ele Records returns with a 2nd missive. This time round, there's a trio of artists at the controls, namely Manchester man Contours, GAMM and Local Talk Records regular Sameed and the previously unheard REPLETE. The latter's 'Legislate', a loose, languid, jazz-flecked chunk of sunshine deep house warmth featuring the suave vocals of Bini, is arguably the EP's standout moment - though it is pushed all the way by the crunchy drums, meandering electric piano solos and head-in-the-clouds dustiness of Sameed's 'Someone Like U'. The breezy, synth-heavy Balearic house breeziness of Contours' 'Night Shift' and the drowsy, cut-up house thrust of "Rush", created by an anonymous producer complete a fine package.

District of Columbia-based deep house imprint Better Listen Records has barely put a foot wrong since launching late last year. Predictably, their latest missive, which comes courtesy of rising star Dorsi Plantar, is another beauty. Title track 'Everlast' opens proceedings via jazzy, jammed-out piano riffs, dewy-eyed electronic flourishes and dusty deep house beats, before 'You're Solid As Fuck' refocuses attention on a chopped-and-looped deep house/jazz-funk fusion. Flip to the B-side for the grandiose orchestration of disco-house pumper 'Fool's Gold' and the near-Balearic sweetness of sun-soaked chunky house closer 'Babesonite', which comes on like a disco-house enthusiast's tribute to Pepe Bradock's 'Deep Burnt'.

Following on from the success of the debut release on his own TNC imprint, a slow burner rapturously received by a host of DJs from The Black Madonna to Fatboy Slim + Artwork, Lemmy Ashton finally returns to the pressing plant for a second instalment, delivering another trio of irresistible underground anthems that shoot for maximum dancefloor fulfillment.

Melbourne record store/label Northside Records reissues the extremely rare 1979 album 'Six To Six' from Hiroshi & Claudia. The music is the result of a session recorded by a touring group of Japanese jazz musicians who were joined by a Mauritian cabaret singer, and the result is an LP that features funky, jazz/disco sensibilities. Don't sleep!

The 2nd instalment in the 'Tale Of Tales' on Lagaffe Tales series brings with it 4 more reasons to be cheerful. Dirt Crew regular Felix Leifur steps up first with 'Eitt', a lovably loose, dusty and occasionally wonky trip into blazed jazz-house territory. The jazzy mood continues on Toy Tonics duo COEO's rolling deep houser 'Clouds', before Moony Me peppers a bustling, organic-sounding groove with sparkling synth refrains and drowsy chords on the thrillingly hazy 'Soul Mirage'. Sune opts for a far more bustling, chunkier beat pattern on skewed disco-house caper 'I'll Be Right Back', which features some superbly cut-up, rearranged vibraphone solos alongside punchy horn samples + a brilliant post-breakdown drop.

Theo Parrish's long out-of-print debut album, 'First Floor', has become something of a must-have for collectors. Originally released in two parts way back in 1998 by legendary UK label Peacefrog, it contains some of the Detroit-based producer's finest work. This 2nd instalment is packed with highlights, including the loose, loopy deep house funk of 'Electric AlleyCat', the ultra-deep, Nina Simone-sampling haziness of 'Sky Walking' and the superb, Moodymann-does-Chicago acid shuffle of 'Heal Yourself And Move'. It also contains the thrilling 'JB's Edit', a dusty, loopy cut-up of an old James Brown tune with tried-and-tested party-starting credentials.

Collectors take note: Peacefrog has reissued Theo Parrish's timeless - and much in-demand - debut album, 'First Floor'. Like the original 1998 release, the album is spread over two separately sold double-packs. This 1st volume contains some of Parrish's strongest work, including the evocative, stretched-out shuffle of 'First Floor Metaphor' (all undulating synth bass, dusty deep house beats and sublime string samples), the Luther Vandross-sampling brilliance of 'Only The Beginning', the fuzzy hip-hop/beatdown fusion of 'Sweet Sticky', and the deep jazz-house brilliance of 'Love Is War For Miles'.
