JSM to automate PMS and PAR of the CPSE - SJVN

SJVN awards contract to JSM Technologies to automate Performance Appraisal Management Process of around 800 executives.

SJVN Limited, a Mini Ratna & Schedule 'A' CPSU under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India, is a joint venture between the Govt. of India & Govt. of Himachal Pradesh.

JSM shall automate the PMS of executives from E 1 to E 7 levels. JSM shall also automate the PAR of E 8 and E9 levels of Central Public Sector Enterprises.

EPFO releases next version of UAN with deadline for completing task of generation of new UAN and linking of old UAN by 15 Nov 2016.
Vide Circular No : R-I/UAN/2.0/2016
EPFO is in the process of development and implementation of next version of UAN, whereby the Universal Account Number of an EPF Member is to be obtained / linked with the present employment by the employer before filing the ECR.
 
The proposed process under UAN 2.0 requires the allotment  of UAN upfront and the ECR  can be filed only in case of such members where UAN has either been allotted to member or the previous UAN has been linked to his present employment.

Vide ESI Gazette Notification number G.S.R 957 (E), dated the 06th Oct 2016
Ministry of Labour and Employment has increased the scope of Employee state insurance act, 1948 vide notification dated 06.10.2016. Now employee taking salary up to Rs 21,000/- (increased from 15,000) are covered under ESI ACT, 1948. Notification is given below. This Notification is applicable from 01.10.2016.
The ESIC board also decided to give an option to existing insured persons (IP) to continue their membership even if their salary raises the limit of Rs 21,000 per month.
Currently, all those insured (IP) under the ESIC scheme lose their ESI membership as well as that of the insurance cover if their salary/wage raises over the limit.
