In a major semantic switch-up, I hope one day to promote "off-the-chain" as slang for something opaque and negative. #OffTheBlockchain

I've always wanted to use the phrase "Man In Middle Management Attack," and Lenovo's #Superfish  blunder just made it possible.

My first post for BlockCypher, in which I confidently explain our Confidence Factor, and how it enables zero-confirmation transactions. And yes, the Hercules gif was my idea.
Despite what you may have heard, dealing with unconfirmed bitcoin transactions is not impossible. Many companies manage …

“The meticulous study of Tom Brady’s ball habits is now the single greatest legacy of the human race.” And that sentence may be my single greatest gift to us all.

After a busy few months I'm finally back on the satire saddle. See how many virus puns you can spot!

Introduction
I'm the only Josh around with the last name Cincinnati. If it's tech, games, math, satire, or tea, I probably love it.

These guys are the Tempurpedic of new age comfort food (in that I want to lay down in a bed full of their fried chicken and never get up). The chef was out front and gave us a sample of their weekly ice cream, which, I kid you not, was made with candy cap mushrooms and butternut squash, and was astoundingly delicious.

A great place to "forge" friendships while "pound"ing a few back, even if you might feel like you were hit by an "anvil" the next morning. You're welcome for the most "metal" review ever.

I wish I could give this place 600 stars, because that's roughly how many handmade flavors they cycle through in a year. My girlfriend loves this place even more than I do, so much so that I might have to file a second mortgage on my nonexistent San Francisco home to afford her 10 pint a week habit.

30 years from now, I'm going to be diagnosed with adult onset diabetes. The doctor will ask, "what's your diet like?" and I'll respond sheepishly, "lots of veggies and fruit, lean protein, no added sugars, and about a dozen Chocolate Things from Arizmendi every week." He'll kindly suggest I stop eating the Chocolate Things; I'll ask him to recommend a new doctor, and I'll regret nothing.

The only thing louder than the chicken is the general din of the place. This can be a good or bad thing, depending on your perspective. But ultimately worth the noise, as the chicken is something special. The truffle mac and cheese is also a crowdpleaser.
