I've chosen the light of the force, as can't be in another way. Go Jedis, peace warriors!

"Non-human primates use a Bayesian strategy to reproduce time intervals" by Mehrdad Jazayeri1 and Michael N. Shadlen in http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S096098221501009X

The claim that human minds learn and reason according to Bayesian principles is not a claim that the mind can implement any Bayesian inference. Only those inductive computations that the mind is designed to perform well, where biology has had time and cause to engineer effective and efficient mechanisms, are likely to be understood in Bayesian terms.

Just read Computer Vision needs a Core and Foundations by A.L. Yuille from UCLA.

I wonder if the last 3 years there is any advance establishing the suggested foundations for a faster update of the newcomers in the field.

An interesting European project pretending to display health levels by the image of the face. Actually a great idea for future homes where everyone could check his general state by just looking at himself in a mirror.
