Slimming world in the UK has helped my wife lose over a stone so far. It acts to educate, support and inspire her to stick with a healthy diet and lifestyle. She has also made new friends within the group widening her social circle. I believe rather than taking miracle pills or adopting crazy eating regimes you just need education in how to prepare your own healthy food from scratch and a support group to keep you motivated in sticking with it.
