This is the stupidest thing to automatically set to yes at install time. If you have this set to yes try this. Open session of AutoCAD 2015. Once started, start your task manager and look in the Processes tab and look for the Acad.exe image name in the left column. Now switch back to your AutoCAD session and close the program. Now watch the Acad.exe image name and take note how long it takes to go away. Quite a long time in my experience.
Now start AutoCAD again and type in DESKTOPANALYTICS at the command line. Uncheck the checkbox next to the "Yes, I would like to contribute to this program."
Now start the task manager again. Switch back to AutoCAD and close the program. Much quicker for it to shut down. That's because it isn't going out on the web to the Google servers and sending information about your session and computer settings. Which also eats up your bandwidth etc. Imagine a company with a lot of users....NOT GOOD.
This is not limited to just AutoCAD, it also applies to revit as well.
You can also turn this off in the registry.
