Starting to realise that I can't do OMG! all on my lonesome...

'cos there's too much to cover? Or too much non-journalism work to do? or something else? :)
If there be technical issues, me might be able to help.
All of the above ;)

Today alone there are over 700 unread RSS feed items to sift through; 400+ emails/mailing list/package update/tips in my inbox to read/reply to; 5 new banners to make; need to finish at least 2 or 3 of 17 "still relevant" drafts, and write mew posts based on what I find in the above; social network stuff to reply to; 2 videos to edit....

Also on the to do list:

....finish tweaking the CSS on the Chrome and Dalek sites; fix the malformed pagination arrow on OMG! Ubuntu!; create at least one post each on Chrome and Dalek sites; see what the four minutes of downtime yesterday were about.... and deal with anything else that crops up.
Joey, I have quite a bit of time on my hands, I run a blog myself, and I am interested in doing Ubuntu stuff. I already moderate your IRC Channel, so writing for the site would seem cool.
If you're looking for people to do some writing for you I'd be happy to help out.
I can help out with the technical stuff if you like, but I'm guessing that's not the biggest problem :p
I could try my hand at writing, too.
If I can help in anyway +Joey-Elijah Sneddon just ask. Whether it's sifting or triaging incoming items, proof-reading, or anything else you need. I've got plenty of time on my hands and would be an honour to help you
I suggest you get some community moderators so that you don't have to spend time moderating comments. I can imagine that takes some time.
any help I can provide? Love the site and would like to give back.
If you need any guest writers or extra bloggers, I'd be totally on for it!
Suggestion: Replace the tip email account with a tiny little web app that just stores the tips in a web-accessible list. Then get a team of trusted volunteers to sift through that list for you, getting rid of the duplicates and uninteresting ones. Hopefully, the resulting list will be far more manageable.
If you're still looking for writers, I would love to help with anything you need. Daleks or Chrome would probably be better fits than Ubuntu, though.
Erm. I'm also totally up for helping / writing / anything really, just say the word. :D
+Joey-Elijah Sneddon I could do one for both OMG Chrome ( Chromium OS ) and OMG Ubuntu...week on each if that would help. Pitfalls differences etc
