Manila, Philippines. 8th March 2014 -- A young boy wearing a Rise for Justice headband in front of the Manila Post Office, at the Liwasang Bonifacio in Manila during the International Women's Day festivities. -- Thousands of participants marched to the Mendiola Bridge to commemorate the International Women's Day. Lead by Gabriela, a women rights group, the participants aired their disgust over the Aquino administration's alleged inefficiency to govern.

Quezon City, Philippines. 14th February 2014 -- Rights group Gabriela leading the march along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City, towards the University of the Philippines to celebrate the world One Billion Rising movement. -- Women rights group Gabriela lead hundreds in a march to commemorate the One Billion Rising movement as it is observed all over the world on Valentines Day. The protest called for justice for all of the alleged victims of the Aquino administration.

Manila, Philippines. 9th January 2014 -- Devotees holding on to the rope pulling the Black Nazarene carriage in Manila. -- Bare footed devotees, estimated around 12 million, marched to the center of Manila to participate in the annual Traslacion of the Black Nazarene. The dark colored statue of Jesus Christ carrying the cross is believed to be miraculous by many.

The hour long switching off of lights is a global initiative to inform people about global warming and energy conservation.

Manila, Philippines. 7th January 2014 -- Believing that it is miraculous, hundreds of devotees try to push the Black Nazarene along Quezon Boulevard in Quiapo, Manila. -- Devotees flocked to the Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene in Quiapo, Manila to participate in the annual parade of Black Nazarene replicas. The event is held in preparation for the annual Traslacion held every 9th of January.
